How to configure userSense Binding on your firewall

You can configure userSense binding settings which could be used to bind userSense users with either IP address or MAC address or both, so that the users can only login from a particular IP address or MAC address or if both the conditions are matched (as per the configuration).

This screen shows a list of configured userSense users for userSense binding.

The following information is required to add userSense Binding:

•           User ID: Select a user from the user list for binding to IP/MAC address.

•           IP Address: Insert the IP address you would like to bind the user with.

•           MAC Address: Insert the MAC address you would like to bind the user with.

NOTE: You can add either IP address or MAC address or both so that user can login if configured conditions are matched. If you enter only IP address then the user would get binded with IP address, in case of only MAC address the user would get binded with MAC address and in case of both, the user will get binded with both IP address and MAC address.
